Blue - written by Ioana Lavinia Licau

 

Blue.

My blues are different from others

My blues are my emotions daughters

And there are so many shades of blue.

Blue is not my favourite colour

But I would like it to be…

Blue is “the color of sadness”

But I don’t recall that.

Sadness is not a real thing

We make it real.

Sadness is when the emotions are so intense

That we don’t know how to cope with them

So that’s why there are so many shades of blue.

Sky blue is pure joy for some people

Or dark blue for others,

But, for me, there’s no shade of blue.

For me, all colours are the same

So there’s nothing I can say or do but feel…

Feel all shades of blue

Because blue is a colour, after all

Blue is not my favorite colour

But my blues are.
